Tim and Caroline were married at Highfield Road Baptist Church in Dartford on 14th July 2007. Now living in Gillingham and active in Gillingham Baptist Church their first two years of marriage have presented many challenges.
Ranging from a series of major DIY issues with the house to a prolonged illness from which Tim is recovering they are still optimistic about the future because they trust God for it.
Tim both works for himself and also will be working for Gillingham Youth For Christ as an IT consultant and teacher. His IT skills are renowned and GYFC are delighted to be able to employ someone of Tim's calibre.
Caroline, a graduate of Birmingham University, still works in London and commutes daily.
Our story, by Tim.
It was one Sunday afternoon and there was an event called Party in the Park, based at Dartford park, where the local churches in the Dartford area get together and have a day for the local community to come along to. One of the tasks I had to do was setup and run the church stall for the afternoon and I was also able to have a slot where I could promote my computer business and hand out free mouse mats. It was while handing those mats and leaflets out, that my middle brother (Keith) came to me with his wife and they introduced me to a very lovely young lady called Caroline. We got chatting for a little while but not for too long as I was running the stall. I found out that Caroline was going to America for 2 months and while Caroline was away in America, we were sending emails to each other. I knew from the first time I met Caroline, that she was the lady I would spend the rest of my life with, it was love at first site. Those 2 months away in America seemed forever!!! Time went on and it was New years eve (2005) that I proposed to Caroline and she said YES!!! Time went on and we set the wedding date for Saturday 14th July 2007, which seemed a very long time to wait!!! Then 14th July came and we could not have asked for a better day, we got married at my father's church (well really the Lord's church) and he took the wedding service. As I said, we could not have asked for a better day and are very thankful to all family and friends for their love and support and for making our day very special. We are now living in Gillingham, Kent and the Lord has blessed us with a nice little 2 bedroom house. We have joined Gillingham Baptist Church and Caroline was baptised there on 11th November 2007. Caroline continues to work in London and I am still running my computer business, which brings it challenges!!! Maybe at another stage I can tell you one or 2 stories from various experiences of running my computer business. We continue to trust the Lord for the years ahead and what the Lord has for us. Anybody is always very welcome to come to our house and even stay if you wish to. Keep trusting Jesus. Tim and Caroline.
The photo on this page will probably change or be added to next May when Tim and Caroline become parents for the first time. Our prayers are with them for a safe pregnancy and birth.
We know that pregnant ladies have some curious food fancies, but this must be the pottiest of all. Who knows, perhaps this is Tim's taste as the rabbit is named Chocolate.
